What’s up with the spelling of Relikcs?
We liked the sound and meaning of the word relic, so we took inspiration from the stereo
consoles of the last century and opted to misspell it by inserting a KC in the name to represent
the city we’re based out of, Kansas City.
How’s the audio quality?
Our consoles are custom-tuned to our own house curve and specifically designed to reproduce
music in stunning detail. The frequency response we get is 40hz – 22khz, which exceeds human
listening capabilities. Our audio quality is unparalleled.
How’s the cabinet constructed?
The cabinets of our consoles are built in Clinton, MO just 90 minutes south of Kansas City. The cabinet exterior is 100% hardwood construction (walnut, white oak, or Sapele) in order to stand up to a lifetime of use, wear and enjoyment. Veneered solid-core plywood is used internally for stability, and veneered MDF is used for the control drawer and speaker boards for vibration dampening.
Does the Relikcs Timbre Stereo Console support multiroom streaming?
Out of the box, all of our consoles have the capability of group-playing with other Relikcs audio devices as well as Acvstica Audio retro-engineered consoles. We also offer Sonos Integration as an additional cost upgrade.
Can I connect the speakers I already own to the Relikcs Timbre Console?
At the moment, our consoles can only stream audio into other Relikcs audio devices. We are, however, working on a bridge device that would allow the use of additional non-Relikcs equipment to join in wirelessly. Subscribe to our newsletter to not miss out on the announcement of this device.
Is my TV compatible with the Relikcs Timbre Stereo Console?
Our Timbre lineup of audio furniture is equipped with a Toslink Optical input that is fully
compatible with most modern TV’s, CD players, and any device with an optical-output capable
of outputting WAV PCM44.1 digital audio.
What streaming services are compatible with the Relikcs Timbre Stereo Console?
The list of supported services include Spotify, Tidal, Pandora, iHeartRadio, TuneIn, Qobuz,
Deezer, Amazon Music, and several others. Our consoles also support bluetooth and Apple
Airplay, so nobody gets left out.
Warranty & Care
What’s the warranty on your consoles?
Our warranty protects you for a period of one (1) year from your date of delivery. The Warranty Period is applicable to all Relikcs Furniture products. Any warranty service or parts replacement will not extend the Warranty Period and will assume only the remainder of the Warranty Period of the original product.
How do I care for the surface finish of my console?
Care should be taken with the finished surfaces of the Relikcs Timbre Console. The console is finished with a durable lacquer finish, however, small scuffs and abrasions may happen, and are part of normal wear and tear. It is highly recommended to use coasters and generally not place containers with liquid on the console, as there is some water resistance but the piece is not waterproof. Water rings and water damage will appear if liquid sits on the console.
Water damage, surface scratches, and normal wear and tear that takes place after the console is delivered will not be covered under warranty.
